Make your flowers complete with beautiful matching leaves
Over the years I found drawing leaves to be difficult to comprehend, and it has been one of the concepts that took me a while to understand. But no flower looks complete without its leaves. Also leaves add to the overall flow of a design so most of the times are necessary!
So let’s jump right in to it!
In this long tutorial I start by some basic leaf designs and study the ways they curl inwards and outwards. Then I use those principles on leaves with progressively more complicated shapes.
In the end we'll learn how to draw leaves on a branch and on a flower. So grab some different colour pencils and some tracing paper and lets start!
Let me know under the video if you found this helpful. I know that it was a lot of information for just one video so if there’s something of all the things that you heard that you want me to concentrate a little bit more and make it more focused tutorial on it let me know, I would love to do that .
If you have any other suggestions of things that you would like to learn how to draw also let me know and until then keep drawing keep practising and cherish the journey.
Thank you again for watching. I appreciate all your beautiful comments and I’m looking forward to making a new video.
